Fabulous Finds – Burberry Edition

Burberry Cat Eye Liner – $38 USD

If I could magically accumulate multiple pieces from a luxury brand (ie. make up, jackets, shoes, scarfs, purses…etc) – it would be Burberry. Burberry has maintained their quality from every product family. Unlike Gucci that makes it seem like its make up was an after thought, Burberry has a wide variety of make up and face products that have surprisingly great quality!

Ill be honest, the first time I found out about the Burberry make up line was when an overflow of inventory was sent to my local Nordstrom Rack. Unopened, untouched. I stocked up… and now I am hooked.

One of my favorite parts of the Burberry make up collection is there choice of prime colors for mascara and eyeliner. Most companies stick to black OR decide to support the full color spectrum, where the goal is bright pigment. However, Burberry went a different direction. My impression is that they decided to go natural with only two colors – black and chestnut brown. Which is perfect for me! As any girl, I love and need a classic black. But as a redhead, sometimes a brown eye liner with brown mascara is a softer approach that color matches better to my skin tone, hair and brows!

So when my existing eye liner started to run out, I decided to show it off as the fabulous find that it is… with free shipping! Unfortunately, no complimentary samples.

The tip of the eye liner brush reminds me of a calligraphy brush. Unlike a felt tip, this calligraphy-like tip keeps its shape and doesn’t dry out. I had mine for 6 months until the liquid that was feeding the tip started to feel like it was running out. And I mean running out. Not drying out. Also, this eye liner is double sided! On the flip side, there is a complimenting color shape shadow, which feels like a velvet mousse to the touch.

Finally, I know CoverGirl is a thing, but can I be a BurberryGirl?!
