German Kabirski Verina Peridot Ring – $220 USD
I have been following the German Kabirski brand for roughly 5 years now. Before the TikTok or Facebook ads and (I like to think) well before a whole bunch of celebrities discovered them. What caught my eye is the beautiful stones and metal work. They were unique. Something that I hadn’t seen before. Usually whenever a company tries to create large jewelry pieces, they come out looking cheap and like costume jewelry. That wasn’t the case with German Kabirski. Their pieces didn’t look fake or like they were made of plastic or a type of metal that would tint your fingers dark after wearing them.
The catch was the price. They weren’t costume jewelry prices. But they also weren’t unattainable like the jaguar inspired collection at Cartier. So I kept an eye on them to see how their uniqueness would develop… and oh have they developed.
Normally I am a strict white gold or silver jewelry kind of girl. I find yellow gold, rose gold or dark metals don’t look that great with my skin tone and overall color complexion. And I definitely don’t like colored gemstones of any kind. I find that I feel like a child dressing up in my mom’s jewelry when I wear any stones that aren’t clear.
That being said, this was different. The accent of the yellow gold on the silver (925 AG engraving on the inside!) with the light olive colored peridot stone fit perfectly against my natural complexion… and they match my eyes!
What I love best about this ring is that it feels one of a kind. That nobody would question its quality, but also love to marvel at it! As someone who doesn’t alter much from my jewelry selection, I am VERY excited to add this ring to my daily rotation.
