Fabulous Finds – Jacquemus Edition

Jacquemus Le Bandeau Neve (Beige) – $80 USD

Jacquemus’ claim to fame has to be the mini bag. Yes, the bags that can hold maybe one lipstick and 1 credit card. For that reason alone, I didn’t see anything interesting about the brand because I couldn’t get over the non-practicality of mini bags. I just need more space!

That being said, Jacquemus has been the #1 requested brand in the Fabulous Finds series. And I was pleasantly surprised! First off, the prices – there were many pieces that were below the $200 and $100 thresholds and unlike some other luxury brands, Jacquemus doesn’t shy away from sales! Second – their quality was also better than expected. I was worried that some of the pieces would have a fast-fashion / H&M type quality to them. But that wasn’t the case!

I got the Jacquemus Le Bandaeu Neve in the color beige. Immediately, I could tell that the quality was softer and thicker than what I was expecting to receive. It didn’t have that artificial feeling to it, like you see in faux feather pieces. And even though I have a big head, the bandeau really did fit snug without being too tight or lose. Honestly, I am really impressed. The only negative that I will give is that the embroidered “Jacquemus” logo isn’t very visible with the white-on-beige color choice. It is visible with the other color options like pink, green, and red… but since I am a redhead I find beige works the best for me. So its too bad the embroidered logo isn’t black or dark grey.

All-in-all not too shabby Jacquemus… not too shabby!

On another note – complimentary shipping and gifts! With my order, Jacquemus sent me two postcards and one of which comes with food-themed stickers! Although the Versace stamp-themed stickers are still my favorites, I still appreciate the gesture!
