Ernest Wright Antique Stork Embroidery Scissors – £37
Considering that I been finding and unboxing Fabulous Finds for almost 2 years now, I think its time that I invest in a pair of special scissors for my videos… sorry Kitchen Aid scissors. You’ve been demoted.
The Antique Stork scissors were handmade in Sheffield, England by Ernest Wright (established in 1902). They have a wide variety of options on their website for activity based scissors and shears. The ones I picked are technically embroidery scissors. However, open first touch its clear they are well made. They have a substantial weight to them, intricate design and precise sharp edges. Perfect for my purposes of looking fancy while recording unboxing videos!
Couple of things to note:
- These do come from the United Kingdom aka shipping isn’t free (expect $10-$20 USD for the shipping and customs tax) on top of standard tax.
- They do publish a 20 week lead time as each item is made by hand to order. My order took no more than 12 weeks from order placement to order delivery (in New Jersey, USA).
