I have been meaning to do a Japanese luxury brand for over a year so I am excited to share WALALA! Did you know that CBD products aren’t as widely popular in Japan as they are in North America? WALALA is one of the first companies to be bringing “Made in Japan” CBD products to market.
First impressions were high, when I received a package from “Japan Post”. Usually when you buy from international brands they are shipping from a US-based warehouse facility and half of the time using product formulas that are more cost effective for their US customer base. (Huge pet-peeve of mine… I want “Made in Japan”, not “Designed in Japan, Made in New Mexico”).
In terms of packaging – I always prefer glass product containers for beauty products to plastic. 1) I find it extends the products lifecycle and 2) its a much more luxurious experience. Both the WALALA Point Cream and Moisture & Repair lotion come in glass containers.
Finally, the products are both so delicate in their application. They have the lightest of scents and the smoothest touches that don’t feel heavy or oily when applied.
