Fendi O’Lock Bread Plate – $80 USD
The O’Lock Bread Plate from Fendi measures in at 11cm (4.3 inches in diameter) and is made from 100% Limoges porcelain. Limoges is a city in France known for its high quality ceramics and exceptional craftsmanship of porcelain. Vintage Limoges porcelain can be extremely value in the secondary market.
This piece is definitely quite pricey for a single, small plate. And while I wouldn’t recommend using it for its real purpose as a bread plate (even though its dishwasher safe!), it could serve other purposes. Specifically a bougie jewelry tray for daily rings and accessories.
Finally, I haven’t had this piece for very long and so I do wonder how well the design lasts. I don’t plan on putting it in the dishwasher, but for this price tag, I expect that gold lock design to last a VERY long time!
